Step out of the hustle and bustle and into history in the charming town of Ferndale.  Historic Victorian homes turned into bed & breakfast locations abound.  The main street is adorable with shops reminiscent of times gone-by.  

It stands out and does things in style.  There you’ll find live theatre, the home of the County Fair and many other popular events that draw the crowds from near and far.  But it’s not a hurried crowd.  Strolling is not only encouraged but comes naturally as you walk past the shop windows and take in the building designs and friendly atmosphere.  

Dairy farming brought in it’s prosperity but keeping it’s historic charm intact is an integral focus of tourism today.  Because of it’s unique qualities, it’s been an ideal setting for film - both the small and large screen.

If you’re not staying in Ferndale, a day trip to this town is a must if you’re in the area.  Walk around the historic cemetery, step into the museums or sip a cool drink from on of the many eateries.  You’ll find it a refreshing break and a day to remember.
